Now that wearable technology is here, it’s time to make sure your company policies set out exactly what is acceptable for your workplace. Employers, are you prepared for wearable technology? While devices such as Google Glass are currently very recognizable, future developments may make them less so. Smartwatches are already fairly inconspicuous. When worn in the workplace, these types of wearable tech devices may leave your sensitive business information vulnerable to theft, and may open you and your company up to the risk of liability over a variety of privacy and safety issues.
